Jobing Description

The Audit Analyst Trainee is responsible for learning the audit process/guidelines and reviewing final audits. The primary role of the Audit Analyst Trainee will be to maintain and improve the audit department by performing the following duties: gaining knowledge to apply the guidelines of the California Workers’ Compensation Uniform Statistical Reporting Plan, providing customer service support, analyzing final audits, and any other general duties or projects as assigned and deemed necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Answer customer service calls regarding a variety of issues related to Underwriting, Premium Accounting and Audit.
* Gain knowledge to apply company audit guidelines as well as those of the California Workers’ Compensation Uniform Statistical Reporting Plan.
* Analyze final audits to insure the appropriate premiums are being charged to the policyholders.
* Notify Underwriting of any potential issues discovered at final audit.

Skills / Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree
* Proficient in MS Word & Excel
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic
* Must be well organized and able to work under time constraints
