When the economy is in a downturn like it is currently, finding jobs becomes more challenging. Knowledge is power and the more you understand the job market in these difficult times, the better you can succeed in it. If this sounds like what you're experiencing in your job search, we encourage you to attend a free career seminar, Finding a Job in a Tough Economy. Tony Vianna, a former HR professional, author and professor at California Miramar University will discuss ways you can better prepare yourself for job seeking when the economy isn't so hot. The event takes place Thursday, October 23rd at 6:30 pm at: California Miramar University 9750 Miramar Rd. #180 San Diego, CA 92126. Closest major intersection: I-15 and Miramar Rd. To RSVP for this event, please e-mail ChristopherM@SanDiegoJaycees.org. This event is organized by the San Diego Junior Chamber, an organization of young professionals ages 18-40*. You can find out more about the organization by visiting our website at www.sandiegojaycees.org. *Although membership in the San Diego Junior Chamber is limited to ages 18-40, this event is open to the public.
