Blog Post: Summer School for Grownups

If you job search is lagging, come join me for summer school.  This 6 week job search course is designed to build confidence and produce results. 

Does it really work?  YES…the last two workshop sessions produced placements for 40% and 50% of the participants.  The new jobs ranged from a senior finance consulting gig to permanent positions in human resources, healthcare, and even a masseuse!

The course is designed to build on new skills and experiences, and is intended to highlight each of these areas of job search:

Assessment: figure out where you are and where you want to go

Resumes, cover letters and other market documents

Job search techniques including social networking

Interviewing

Negotiation

Ideally it is recommended to attend all sessions for best results.  The cost for the series is $30 or $10 per session.
