Blog Post: Appreciation

posted Wednesday, November 21, 2007 1:34 PM

As we think about Thanksgiving, and what we are grateful for, I'd like to share some of the nicest things to happen to me lately and say thank you...

After a hard day, I got an email from Sabrina.  I talked to her at the resume review at the last jobing.com job fair in San Diego. She says that she followed my advice and was going on her first interview tomorrow, and thanked me.

It made my day….

Sometimes, when you question whether you are doing the right thing, or if what you are seeking is really the right thing, it comes to you out of nowhere…a gift of knowing and appreciating who you are as an individual.

Thank you Sabrina

I created a new workshop "Navigating Your Career in a Tough Economy" and presented it for the first time yesterday.  At the end I received some unexpectedly good reviews, and that made my day.

It's all about the little things....that let us know we are on the right track.

  • I am thankful to those who read this blog, give comments or contact me.  Keep those cards and letters coming...
  • I am thankful for the opportunity to share my experiences, and so thank Rosanna Indie for giving me this opportunity.
  • I am thankful for my friends and family who encourage me to be the best I can be.

Wishing everyone a safe, and happy Thanksgiving!
