Blog Post: Tips to help you be successful your first week on the job

So you landed a great job and are filled with enthusiasm and a very positive view of the company and the opportunity. Below are a few tips taken from Job-Search Briefs that will help you during the first few days on a new job:
1.) Make sure you arrive early and are both physically and mentally ready to work. 2.) Present yourself appropriately (dress, hygiene, etc.) 3.) Be sure to ask questions. This way, you will not have doubts about your assignments or job orders. 4.) Be a great team player! 5.) Keep the doors open to communication with your co-workers and subordinates. 6.) Never assume that your co-workers understand you and how you do things. Encourage them to ask you questions. 8.) Show initiative by being willing to take on new assignments, work overtime to complete tasks, etc. 9.) Demonstrate loyalty to the company and fellow workers. 10.) Attitude, attitude, attitude - Express a positive attitude at all times toward yourself, your company and your fellow workers.
