For over 50 years, Veridiam, formerly known as Carpenter Special Products Corporation prior to its June, 2005 sale by Carpenter Technology Corporation to a private equity investor, has been a major integrated product manufacturer of precision engineered, build-to-print tubing and tubular components for medical, aerospace and nuclear applications.

Our precision tubing capabilities are housed in over 170,000-sq. ft. of manufacturing space on 7 acres outside of San Diego, California. We can offer you a wide variety of fabrication options and custom engineered products to meet almost any design challenge.

Our Products

We start by manufacturing welded and drawn tubing with outside diameters (O.D.'s) between .030" (0.76 mm) to 12"(305 mm) with wall thickness from 0.002" (0.050 mm) to 0.125" (3.175 mm) out of stainless steels, titanium, zirconium, and nickel alloys. All tubing is custom engineered to your requirements and we routinely hold tight tolerances for ID, OD, and wall thickness. Minimum order quantities differ by size and materials so please inquire about your specific project.

Our roots were formed in the exacting nuclear and aerospace industries where we have supplied critical aircraft and nuclear tubing worldwide for more than 5 decades. We can supply finished tubing in random or specific cut lengths or continue with additional fabrication operations including laser welding, tube bending, slotting, shaping, flaring, notching, precision hole forming, etc. We also supply seamless tubing including cannulated bar out of Carpenter Technology's BioDur® 108 alloy or other alloys primarily for medical applications.

Material Selection
We manufacture precision engineered, built-to-print tubing and tubular components in a wide variety of materials. We can supply material solutions appropriate for your particular project, including Carpenter's exclusive engineered alloys for demanding applications.

Medical Application Capabilities
Veridiam produces tubing and tubular components for use in medical applications ranging from minimally invasive surgery instruments to advanced electronic diagnostics equipment and medical implants. Other medical applications include: orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, medical instrumentation, microsurgery, and orthodontia.

Rapid Prototyping
Offering rapid-prototype service to assist customers in increasing their speed-to-market for new products. When you're ready for production, we have the capability to manufacture orders of any size. We have a dedicated prototyping facility with state-of-the-art equipment, enabling us to perform all manufacturing processes necessary to turn your idea into a functioning component. And, we offer technical assistance every step of the way.
