Fortunately, for hundreds of hurt and abandoned children, there is Casa de Amparo. Casa de Amparo provides safe shelter and a continuum of prevention and treatment services to abused, neglected and at-risk infants, children and teens and their families in San Diego County.

Casa de Amparo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Oceanside, part of San Diego County California.

"Amparo" is a Spanish word that translates into the feeling we strive to create for abused and neglected children and their families. It means to embrace, to offer protection, aid, comfort and rest. As a "House of Refuge," Casa de Amparo provides a safe shelter and help when a children and their families need it the most.
