LifeCare Solutions, West Inc., a home healthcare company, with branches in California, Arizona and Washington, was acquired by Westar Capital, LLC effective July 8, 2003. The new company, LifeCare Solutions Holdings Inc., will continue to do business as LifeCare Solutions.
Westar Capital, an experienced healthcare investor, has had a successful track record in the home health industry for many years. In addition to purchasing the assets, Westar Capital has also provided LifeCare Solutions with substantial working capital that will give the Company the opportunity to aggressively compete and grow.
Jeremy M. Jones, formerly Chairman and CEO of Apria Healthcare and with over 30 years of experience in the home healthcare industry, is also a major investor, Director, and will serve as Chairman of the Board for LifeCare Solutions. Tom Robbins is the new CEO of LifeCare Solutions. Tom has been in the home health business for over 13 years, including CEO of Healthfield, Inc. in Atlanta, GA., and EVP of Apria Healthcare, headquartered in California. Charlie Lager, former President and CEO of Lifecare Solutions, West Inc., will remain with the Company as Executive Vice President.

LifeCare Solutions’ corporate office is located in San Diego and it also operates a clinical branch in San Diego, providing home healthcare services in infusion therapy, respiratory therapy and durable medical equipment.
