Second Chance History

Founded in 1993 by Executive Director Scott Silverman, Second Chance is committed to breaking the cycle of unemployment, poverty and homelessness that plague our city. This is accomplished by offering job readiness training, job placement and affordable housing to men, women and youth who desire to change their lives.

Creating opportunities for self-sufficiency by providing job readiness training, employment placement, affordable housing and life skills for homeless and unemployed men, women and youth.
