My Approach

The individuals I coach and teach tend to be at a change or transition point.  They are in a new position, where they need new strategies, and a fast uptake to speed their integration.  They are in an organization that has changed, and is asking them for new behaviors.  They have decided they want to go in a new, higher, or different direction, and are looking for ways to move quickly.  Often,

• They do not know, and/or are not working from their strengths
• They don’t understand their own vision or how it aligns with corporate goals
• They are dealing with challenging management, political or personal relationships
• They are looking to improve their ability to communicate key messages
• They wish to polish their leadership presence
• They have changed their own direction and are unsure how to move forward

 I challenge my clients to become more contextually aware, more flexible, curious, and possibility-oriented, and to view their own behaviors with the same degree of logic and critical analysis as they do their work. 

 I use assessment instruments, 360 reviews, regular discussion, and formal, between-session assignments, and work with my clients to develop a clear, action-oriented path toward accelerated change and expanded success.  I am also skilled at responding to immediate, unexpected situations when needed.  After all, stuff happens……!

 I believe it is possible to enjoy one's work - even have fun - and to successfully integrate one's best and truest self into one's work.
