Develops and implements Business Objects solutions to meet the reporting needs of the company with end result of accurate, consistent, and verifiable report outputs used to drive decision making and business processes. Additionally, support and enhance TMaG Applix Business Analytics Platform.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
The primary function of this position will be to design and develop Business Objects universes and reports for various parts of the business (Sales, Finance, Operations) based on business requirements. This person will work with business users to document requirements as well as educate and mentor them in the use of BO.?
An equally important part of this position is maintaining the OLAP TM1 Applix environment - multidimensional cubes, primarily serving TMaG Finance and Planning departments.
Additionally, the person in this role will be part of a team responsible for the BO infrastructure (server installation, configuration and tuning) and administration and thus providing continuous and quality BI service to the Business.
The person in this position will be responsible for making architectural decisions about the BO environment in order to optimize it and guarantee successful evolutions.

Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience:
Bachelor's Degree.?
Five years+ work experience with BusinessObjects
Three year+ work experience with IBM Applix TM1
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Experience architecting BO environments and infrastructure
Experience designing reports, including advanced features such as combining data from various sources, creating Visual Basic macros
Experience with Business Objects XI - DeskI, WebI, InfoView, Designer
Experience with IBM Applix - application design and development
Strong knowledge of Applix TM1 Rules and TM1 processes
Experienced using TM1 with Oracle databases
Familiar with ETL development using Turbo Integrator
Knowledge of planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions and business processes
Good data modeling experience and familiar with Data Warehouse best practices
Relational database development and design knowledge - very strong Oracle, SQL skills
Experience with infrastructure, supporting Applix applications - TM1 database server
Experience in mentoring users on Business Objects.
Experience setting up Business Object's Universe.
Skilled in troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator.
Exposure to finance and planning systems
SQL language skills helpful.
Ability to work in a team as well as individually and effectively operate in a cross-team environment.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in managing IT projects.
