Job: Payroll Coordinator

Amylin Pharmaceuticals, founded in 1987, is a growing biopharmaceutical company committed to improving lives through the discovery, development and commercialization of innovative medicines. This position is responsible for processing payroll for 1500+ multi-state, multi-entity employees, issuance of manual checks, employee management and guidance.

Responsibilities

Timely submission & distribution of multi-state payroll using ADP Pay force and eTIME

Responsible for the administration of the bi-weekly multi-state payroll which includes auditing and maximizing payroll functions and managing system changes

Ensures payrolls are run accurately and effectively

Create and download custom files and reports

Audit electronic timesheets

Assist all levels of employees with questions

Work closely with Human Resources on employee changes

Administration and maintenance of Amylim's time & attendance system (eTIME)

High school diploma

Minimal of 3 years of multi-state payroll experience with ADP (preferably ADP Payforce & eTIME)

Strong customer service and organization skills required

Excellent communication & problem solving skills a must

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Requires excellent analytical and system skills needed to identify issues and suggest solutions

Auditing and reporting experience is required

Familiarity with Leave of Absence employee processing

Ability to multi task in a busy payroll department

Knowledge of Microsoft Office- advance Excel preferred

Experience with ADP Business Objects Reporting System

Attention to detail and excellent communication is a must

Deep knowledge of technical aspects of payroll systems
