Job: Part Time Facilities Clerk

Provides mail, record retention, and general office services to all departments of the credit union.

Essential duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail, interbranch “guard” mail, and courier deliveries to appropriate department daily.

Prepares outgoing mail for delivery to the post office.

Sets and operates postage meter.

Weighs letters and packages, calculates postage and records postage charges.

Logs all Federal Express, UPS, Express Mail, registered mail, and certified mail for tracking purposes.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Three to six months experience distributing and collecting incoming mail and processes outgoing mail in an office environment.

Knowledge Required for Position:

Knowledge required includes simple, routine, or repetitive tasks or operations, which typically includes following step-by-step instructions and requires little or no previous training or experience.
