SUMMARY Obtains or receives merchandise, totals bill, accepts payment, and makes change for customers in retail store by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise. 2. Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales. 3. Promotes all association benefits, products and services. 4. Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise. 5. Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives merchandise selected by customer. 6. Answers customer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise. 7. Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill. 8. Accepts payment and makes change. 9. Wraps or bags merchandise for customers. 10. Invoices faxed volume orders and maintains records. 11. Checks IMS orders and invoices for discounts where applicable and maintains records. 12. Performs weekly spot inventory checks on selected products. 13. Prepares bank deposits and gets change from bank as needed. 14. Answers incoming calls, assists member or direct to proper department or individual. 15. Recruits and signs up new members. 16. Assists members with changes in Rapattoni and Tempo. 17. Processes paperwork for members including office changes, etc. 18. Sells Sentrilock keys, lockboxes and other equipment. Enters in Sentrilock system. 19. Programs Sentrilock keys and lockboxes as requested by members. 20. Diagnoses Sentrilock keys and lockboxes and repairs or replaces as needed. 21. Sells and registers Safe MLS tokens. 22. Accepts and processes payments for SDAR and Sandicor. 23. Sells education materials. 24. Registers members for classes. 25. Monitors testing. 26. Cleans shelves, counters, or tables. 27. Removes and records amount of cash in register at end of shift. 28. Calculates sales discount to determine price. 29. Balances daily batches. 30. Participates in annual off site EXPO Convention Program. Prepares inventory, merchandises, accepts payments and balances bank. Dis-assembles convention booth at close of EXPO Convention. 31. Prepares a restocking report for receiving department to transfer inventory as needed. 32. For offsite locations prepares bank deposit and delivers to banking institution as directed by company Controller. 33. Housekeeping duties for Rancho Bernardo Service Center. Skills / Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

Real Estate Experience preferred. 3. Ability to type 40 words per minute. 3. Computer skills: Outlook, Microsoft Office COMPUTER SKILLS 1. MS Office 2. Rapattoni experience preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS 1. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT 1. Long periods of standing behind a sales counter. 2. Bending and lifting to stock shelves.
