Job: Residential Supervisor - Part-time

Home Start, a leader in providing child abuse prevention and family strengthening services in San Diego County for over 37 years, is seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee the Maternity Shelter Program. The program is a small residential facility that will house ten to fifteen pregnant and/or parenting young women and their children. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring stability and continuity of the program on a part-time basis during evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call. The supervisor will provide parenting training, case management, and other program activities.

Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience in social work or related human services field required. Experience with in-home, family-based case management services required. Must have knowledge of child development, child abuse dynamics, family systems and community resources. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
