Job: Physician

We currently have a full-time opening for an OB/GYN Physician and Site Director.

Responsibilities
•Provide direct primary care and ambulatory outpatient care to clinic patients
•Participate in quality assurance and utilization review
•Provide in-service training to clinic staff to increase staff awareness and to
facilitate the highest quality patient care
•Participate in the development of clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality
medical care
•Participate in utilization and peer review programs which evaluate the quality of
the medical staff and the medical services being performed at the clinic
•Provide supervision and consultation to nurse practitioners and physician
assistants
•Provide consultation services to practitioners via telephone accessibility as
necessary
•Attend and actively participate in internal and external meetings to expand and
improve patient services

•Current California license, DEA license and Board Eligible or Certified
•Ability to work with people of all social and ethnic backgrounds and within the
constraints of government funded programs
•Effective verbal and written communication
•Knowledge of community health center and public assistance programs, state and
federal regulations and managed care systems preferred
•Bilingual -- English/Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements
•Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
•Ability to reach, bend, climb, stoop and lift and carry up to 30 pounds
•Repetitive hand movement: use and view of PC and writing
•Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation and current vehicle
insurance

Malpractice coverage is provided by the Clinic.
