Job: AFLAC Recruiting/Personnel Management Internship

AFLAC is a Fortune 500 company who is the world's largest supplemental insurance provider. We have been in the business for 51 years and we have 90% brand recognition nationwide with our duck.

Internship Goals:

To provide college students with the opportunity to gain 'real world' experience in the field of Recruiting/Personnel Management. Students will be able to observe how the Fortune 500 insurance company of AFLAC organizes and develops its independent offices and independent contractors (insurance agents) to make up its field force.

Purpose of Internship:
Assisting the regional manager with the growth and development of the AFLAC organization in the East San Diego area.

Main duties of Interns:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to being entirely involved in the recruiting process from searching for resumes online, scheduling interviews, pre-screening leads, interviewing candidates, and tracking the results for the field sales agents with AFLAC. The regional manager will work with the students in tailoring the internship program to meet their needs in terms of areas they wish to derive beneficial experience from.


Program Guidelines:
Expected length of the internship is thirteen weeks but may be longer if preferred. Schedule is flexible and entirely up to the students. We only ask that you be able to commit at least ten hours per week. May be full time or part time depending on the student.
