Job: Experienced Business Development Manager (BDM)

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is the largest pro-business membership
organization on the West Coast. We are seeking individuals to join our sales team to help us grow our membership even larger.

Are you tired of making difficult cold calls? Then consider working for an organization that
prospects are pleased to receive a call from. We’ve been supporting businesses in this region for
over 130 years. Business Development Managers (BDM’s) are responsible for cultivating
relationships with local and regional businesses resulting in their joining the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce as members. BDM’s responsibilities include:

* Engaging prospects in needs based selling;
* Interaction with current Chamber members;
* Event attendance;
* Entering data into a Contact Management system;
* Proven telephone and face-to-face selling skills.

* Strong computer skills including MS Word and Outlook;
* Minimum 3-years proven sales background;
* Excellent oral and written communication skills;
* High school diploma a must; Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
