![]() Provide helpdesk & network administration supporting 400+ workstations, Windows servers, networking appliances (wired and wireless), as well as vendor managed application servers relevant to automotive sales and accounting systems on a multi-site network. Applicant should have considerable skill and/or experience with networking fundamentals, Windows desktop OS, and third-party application installation and troubleshooting. The demonstrated ability to create, revise, and follow policy-driven procedures is a must. Customer service is a priority, whether dealing with internal or external customers; cool attitude under pressure. Essential Job Functions: •Maintain daily operations of network infrastructure; server logs, connectivity analysis. •Support end-user connectivity, desktop applications, and application configuration. •Perform hardware and software upgrades on Windows Systems using Active Directory Scripting languages VBScript, ADSI, WMI, WSH. •Follow vendor specifications for configuration and operation of standalone service systems. •Constant revision of user and IT documentation. •Provide enterprise class customer service at all times. •Maintain concise inventory of all IT hardware and software licenses. •Network printer support •Assist other IT staff in support of a major or complex project. •May act as a “subject matter expert” (SME) working with client teams and third-party vendors to solve technical issues as needed. •Communicate technical service policies for products supported by the Help Desk. *Answer Helpline and correct user PC and software issues via remote control. *Maintain Helpdesk logs, and prioritize issues into ticket tracking system. •Ability to quickly prioritize competing demands in a dynamic environment. •Applicant should enjoy a fast paced environment. •Experience supporting a request volume of 20+ calls/emails per day. •Experience working within an Enterprise environment (ex - 400+ end users) •Experience with UCS Dealer Management System a plus •Bi-Lingual a MAJOR plus; English and Spanish. •Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems. •Thorough understanding of network protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, etc.), file server configuration and network supervision. •Demonstrated expertise in installing, configuring, troubleshooting and using client operating systems, virus protection, backup programs, browsers, email clients and software applications such as Microsoft Office: XP, NAV, BUE, IE, Firefox, pop-mail. •Highly proficient writing skills to clearly convey detailed and complex procedures in the creation of user technical documentation and reports. Ability to collect data from various sources, evaluate and assemble for presentation. Important Notes
