Valvoline Instant Oil Change is looking for motivated and experienced Customer Service
Representatives
to work at any of our 21 locations in San Diego County. Do you enjoy

A Customer Service Representative should have experience in automotive or retail.
We have a comprehensive Customer Service Representative training program to ensure
individuals within the position are equipped to succeed as a CSR. A Customer Service
Representative is responsible for being the primary contact with our customers so we may
service their preventative automotive needs. Additional responsibilities include being trained
and certified in our Technician Training Program, which is a 2 to 4 week paid training
program. A CSR must be able to complete the technical aspects of working in a quick lube.

    The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Ensure a highly satisfying experience for every single guest
  • Learn to use our Point of Sale system and properly invoice customers
  • Be technically proficient in administering our basic and additional services
  • Ensure proper cash handling and ensure strict adherence to cash control procedures
  • Be responsible for basic administrative needs of Service Center and opening or closing of a
    Service Center

  • Skills / Requirements
    The Customer Service Representative is responsible for making the automotive correct
    recommendations to service a customer's preventative maintenance needs based on industry
    standard recommendations. This individual provides outstanding customer service, creates
    work orders and correctly uses our Point Of Sale system, ensures proper cash handling and
    documentation of invoices, and works closely with the Service Center Manager or Assistant
    Manager to ensure that customers have an extraordinary experience. Prior retail or
    automotive experience and ASE Certifications will positively affect salary. Familiarity with
    basic POS systems is preferable.
