Job: Child Development Counselor - Adolescents

The San Diego Center for Children is looking for Child Development Counselors (CDCs) for our residential treatment programs serving emotionally disturbed adolescents, up to 18 years old.

Join our innovative, trauma-sensitive program focused on healing emotional trauma and building therapeutic relationships. Work with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists, therapists, parents, social workers, teachers and child care staff.

Job Responsibilities: provide daily care and supervision for emotionally disturbed adolescents in a residential treatment facility; facilitate groups and daily living skills activities; transportation of residents to community activities.

Full time and on-call positions available in both our Adolescent's programs; Day, Evening and Overnight shifts available.

Requirements: BA degree and residential experience preferred; Bilingual preferred; Must be at least 21 years of age in order to meet regulations regarding eligibility to drive company vehicles.
