Job: Youth Partner

JOB SUMMARY:
The Youth Partner will align with and help support youth to navigate through the system of care. Youth Partner will also act as the youth’s advocate, mentor, and behavior coach, with the goal of helping them to meet their treatment and life goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
In order to relate well with youth, must be between 18-25 years old at time of hiring. Experience as a consumer of children’s public services highly desired (probation, child welfare, mental health, special education). Good written and verbal communication skills, and understanding of children’s mental health issues. Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. Appropriate professional boundaries and work habits. Ability to type, work on a computer, and use the internet/email. Reliable transportation. Knowledge of the wraparound process and community resources a plus. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
