Job: Non Profit Chef/Cook

Adecco Employment of Mission Valley is recruiting for one of our premiere clients in the San Diego metro area! We have an immediate opening for a lead cook/chef to aid in running a kitchen from cooking to preparing meals for 200-300 person events. This is a non profit position that is committed to its food donors and clients. This position is creating meals from food donations. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of menu creation such as making meals for large volume within specific recipe and food guidelines based on food donated to this organization.

The position will begin as temporary and there is opportunity based on the right candidate. The schedule includes weekends due to events and is a daytime hours position. The pay rate begins at 12.25 an hour and will be reviewed as the person works in the role.

The skills for cooking for large volume within the scope of what is donated and most importantly, the ability to have compassion for this organization's clients that work within the organzation and also respect for those who are member of the community that the organization serves.
