Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Develop and executes Sales and Marketing plans.
Research, analyze and monitor, financial, and demographic factors.
Plan and monitor Hotel's advertising and promotional activities.
Develop and recommend rate policies. Monitor market response.
Direct and supervise Hotel sales team.
Develop budget and monitor sales activities.
Responsible for achievement of all property specific financial objectives.
Process financial overview by completing reports/rolling forecast, month end, market share analysis.
Produce and execute marketing plan.
Plan and prepare advertising and promotional materials.
Manage to Sales & Marketing budgeted line items.
Develop quarterly plan to support and execute the annual marketing plan for all segments and outlets.
Using all available data and reports, establish history, present and future demand and forecast for the following terms: six month rolling forecast, future bookings log, monthly forecast, weekly forecast.
Participate in the sales effort by carrying and achieving a group booking goal.
Be involved in the community, professional organizations, Chamber of Commerce in order to influence the community to make sound business decisions while also searching for potential business.
Oversee and/or assist in all special sales related projects (i.e., photo shoots, sales blitzes, openings, etc.).
Assist in the sales review and training effort of acquisition hotels as assigned. Select, train, supervise, develop, schedule, discipline, and counsel associates according to Sunstone policies and procedures.
Implement, monitor and maintain departmental inventory, record keeping, accounting, budget and purchasing policies according to SHM policies and procedures.






Skills / Requirements
This experienced candidate will have two or more years in hotel sales and catering. Job responsibilities include developing and executing sales plans to achieve budgeted hotel revenues. Planning and monitoring hotel’s advertising and promotional activities. Developing and recommending short and long term revenue strategies. Directing and supervise hotel sales and catering staff. Developing, budgeting and monitoring sales activities to ensure goal achievement. Maintain and monitor SHM standards of quality and guest service.
Excellent communications skills a must. Computer experience in Delphi, Outlook and Marriott systems a plus.
