Job: Maintenance Supervisor

USDA Regulated Meat Processing facility located in Vista, CA is currently seeking hands on Maintenance Supervisor. Candidate must have background in Food Manufacturing with Ammonia / R-22 Refrigeration experience. This position is responsible for the daily maintenance and up keep of all production equipment to ensure efficient plant operations and minimization of downtime. Other responsibilities include carrying out preventive maintenance, supervision of personnel, preparing part requisitions and performing tasks and ensuring safety and security of physical plant and facilities.

The selected candidate must be reliable, motivated, and willing to strive to achieve the results required by the department to contribute to the continued success of the company.

Qualified candidates should have the following: Knowledge in the beef, chicken or pork industry with experience in refrigeration (ammonia), conveyors belts, meat grinders, pneumatic & hydraulic systems (Allen Bradley computerized programs or experienced of similar programs will be a plus)

Requirements:

* Five or more years experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Mechanical Engineering will be a plus.
* Ammonia & R-22 Refrigeration will be a plus.
* 3-5 years Supervisor experience.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good analytical problem solving skills
* Ability to work at all levels of the organization: Operators, Supervisors and Managers. Working on multiple projects simultaneously.
* A highly motivated, self-starter personality is important.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, AutoCAD.
* Strong computer skills.
* Bilingual candidate (English, Spanish) a plus.
