Job: Store Manager - Tire Retail and Automotive Services

Evans Tire & Service Centers is a family-owned business with 18 locations throughout San Diego County.

Evans Tire & Service Centers is looking for motivated team players with a drive for success, a great attitude, and a passion for customer service. We are seeking automotive professionals to help grow our successful company!

We are currently seeking candidates with the potential for management. Qualified candidates will be placed in a Management Training program and be placed in a management role, providing successful completion of the program and meeting the qualifications to be placed in the role of mangement.

1. You have a valid CA driver's license.
2. You have at least 4 years experience in automotive service sales at a management level.

The store manager will exemplify the highest level of customer service and professional integrity. He/she will be accountable for the sales growth and profitability of the store's operations. The store manager will attain monthly and annual sales goals and budgets, be responsible for implementing the marketing and sales promotions, promote safety policies and procedures, ensure compliance with Evans Tire's policies and procedures, and be responsible for hiring, training, and developing store personnel.

Responsibilities and Duties:
-required to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and budget objectives
-exceed Evans Tire's performance standards for tire sales and mechanical service sales and margin
-receive tires and transfer goods; maintenance of tire inventory
-provide superior customer service to exceed customers' expectations
-maintain an awareness jof all promotions and advertisements
-promote and supervise all safety procedures and protocol within the store
-create leads for fleet sales
-perform with accuracy all End of Day (EOD) tasks, including: receipts reporting, cash handling, credit card reconciliation, and nightly bank deposits
-responsible for: payroll productivity, training of new employees, scheduling, time card management, data analysis, customer service issues, and any additional tasks assigned by upper management

This job has supervisory responsibilities.

Skills required include:
History of successful sales and management experience, enthusiasm and positive attitude, strong communication skills, professionalism, excellent customer service record. Computer proficiency is a must.

Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Candidate must have a valid driver's license and be willing to submit to a background check.
