Qualified applicants need have education in the field or prior experience with the SED population.

This position requires a person who is ready, willing and able to take on an essential leadership role in order to assist their supervisor in creating a strong therapeutic milieu. At a minimum this means being a crucial role model who:
- Provides a safe, secure and stable environment
- Assists residents in their daily routine including meals, school, appointments, recreation, independent living skills and employment
- Helps residents develop more socially acceptable behaviors, and
- Utlimately, shapes lives

About Us:
Our mission is "Building positive futures for youth, their families, and our communities". New Haven is a community-based, non-profit, social services agency. For over 40 years, we have been providing services to youth, specifically emotionally disturbed and at-risk adolescent males (ages 11-17). We provide residential treatment, education, vocational services and clinical intervention to youth and their families.

Only candidates that are local or willing to drive to North County will be considered for the position.
Experience with S.E.D. boys, childhood and/or psychology classes, and/or like facility necessary. BA in related field desired. We process fingerprints and require clearance before candidates can work. Preemployment physicals required. Positions requires driving and DMV driving records are reviewed. Must be at least 21 years old.
