Jobing Description
The Compensation and Benefits Representative will provide benefit, compensation and HRIS support to the employee benefits, payroll, insurance premiums, reports, employment status, communications, human resources and training records and tables. He/she will:
* Answer employees' benefit and compensation questions and record employee enrollment in benefit programs. * Distributes information on and explains benefits programs such as retirement, pension, health, life, disability, and workers' compensation plans to employees and dependants. * Verifies and completes benefits enrollment forms. * Reviews reports from insurance plan provides to verify accuracy and resolve differences. * Enters benefits-related data into computerized human resources information system. * Maintains files of enrollment forms and other documentation. * Assists in running the Payroll reports for the Payroll packet (new hires, terminations, LOA's and for the Post-Payroll part of the process (EDD New Hire Registry and hires/term reports for SEIU and Teamsters unions). Skills / Requirements
* Four year college; plus two years general office experience including exposure to and experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
