Job: Commodities Supervisor

The Commodities Supervisor oversees all Food Service Department perishable and non-perishable supplies. Responsible for ordering, purchasing and storing perishable and non-perishable supplies, rotating stock and maintaining inventory. Generates accurate monthly and quarterly inventory reports. Assists Food Service Program Manager with menu planning for residents of St. Vincent De Paul Village.

Minimum:
G.E.D.; Food Handlers Card and1-2 years as a supervisor in the food industry
Market:
High school diploma; Food Handlers Card and 3-5 years as a supervisor in the food industry and directly supervising 3-5 employees
Preferred:
AA Culinary Arts, ServSafe Certified; Forklift Certificate and 5 years as a supervisor in the food industry and directly supervising 3-5 employees

Other:
Must have Food Handlers Card on first day of work and maintain annual renewal
Obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR Card (must be completed within first 3 months)
Initial TB testing within first 30 days of employment and annually
Hepatitis B training within 10 days
Participate in NVCI training within first 60 days and maintain annual renewal
Obtain and maintain ServSafe certification within first 60 day.
