Job: Residential Program Specialist

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the Residential Program Specialist (RPS) plays a critical role in supporting residents of St. Vincent de Paul Village through the continuum of care with the goal of successful transition to the community and permanent housing. The RPS is responsible for the intake process for new clients entering either short-term or transitional housing, logging daily program/client events and participating in shift pass down, supervision of client activities, distribution of supplies, information and referral to internal agency services, data entry, maintaining client case notes in the agency client data base (CSTAR), and maintaining program files. Computer and writing skills are required and successful completion of CSTAR training within 30 days of hire.

Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalency, plus a minimum of 6 months human services experience, preferably in a residential setting working with diverse population strong focus on customer service.

Preferred Education and Experience: BA in Human Services or course work and experience equal to six years in related field. Will consider volunteer work in human services and Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Experience equal to Two (2) years in Social Services working with at-risk population. Candidate must have strong communication skills, oral and written, computer literate and knowledge of community resources helpful
