Job: Child Development Teacher On call

Position Summary: As a member of the Children's Service's team, promotes a safe, healthy and nurturing atmosphere for the children. Allows parents the opportunity to access programs within the Village and in accordance with their case plan. The Child Development Teacher creates an age appropriate curriculum and programs that meets the developmental stages of the children and ensures that the needs and interests of the age group are being met.

Minimum Education and Experience: High school or equivalency and six (6) ECE units and concurrent enrollment (or enrollment that takes place within the next available semester). Experience in youth services providing recreational activities for school age children.

Preferred Education and Experience: AA in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and one-year work experience as a child development teacher or related position in an after school program or youth camp. NOTE: Stated requirements are dictated by Department of Social Services including background check and fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice and FBI. Class B License a plus.
