Jobing Description
Answer telephones and interact with customers to identify and meet their needs in a superior manner, performs call announcements and call routing. Provides general answers to questions and assists callers in obtaining the correct information on funding eligibility and information of services offered by the health center. Makes appointments as requested by callers/patients by using telephone & online PC systems, contacts patients to confirm or reschedule their appointment. Uses medical unit protocols to determine appropriate appointment assignment.
Skills / Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent. Post-High School Vocational or specialized training preferred. Medical Terminology certification preferred. 2 years as telephone operator/receptionist. 1 year in medical setting preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
