Training Specialist
The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering customer and employee training on A-Life Medical products and services. This position works closely with Engineering, Product Management and Client Services to understand features, benefits and best practices. The Training Specialist works closely with the Project Management team to provide suitable product training for customers and relay customization requests back to Project Managers to ensure a successful and timely implementation. As a key member of the Professional Services team, this person will employ knowledge of the industry and the software to recommend solutions to meet each client’s implementation objectives. The Training Specialist reports to the Director of Client Services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Technical and Managerial: o Facilitate online application training via WebEx o Work closely with Project Managers to relay customer needs as determined during training sessions o Measure and monitor training impact and effectiveness via customer surveys o Update and help maintain Learning Management System o Actively model A-Life values and culture of quality and excellence o Participate in other projects, as assigned Corporate Relations: o Represents the company to customers. Skills / Requirements
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Work Experience: o Two or more years experience in software training; healthcare experience desirable. o Proven ability to provide excellent customer service. o Demonstrated affinity for technology and experience delivering web-based training and presentations. Technical Knowledge of: o Products and applications required to perform the functions of the job duties assigned. Other Skills / Experience: o Ability to effectively present training material to an audience o Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills. o Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities o Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment o Highly organized and able to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously o Excellent project coordination skills o Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to influence others to achieve desired results o Must have professional poise and confidence while leading discussions with client decision makers, end-users and professionals Time Related Job Requirements: o Must be willing and able to travel as needed, up to 25% of time.
