Job: Medical Assistant

Group practices and private healthcare providers are seeking experienced Medical Assistants who enjoy what they do. Opportunities include part time and full time positions that vary from temporary, temp to hire, per diemn, and permanent placements. Our clients are seeking candidates to fill openings in clinical settings throughout San Diego County. Opportunities generally are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 and 5.

Back office responsibilities include:
*patient vitals
*histories
*injections
*assisting with office procedures

Positions are available in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, and various other specialties.

Experience should have demonstrated use of equipment/supplies, ability to communicate by phone/in person with department staff and outside sources. Need ability to prioritize a variety of assignments; multi-task; flexibility; follow moderate/complex instructions, work independently with little supervision, recognize and appropriately report safety problems or other problem situations.

*completed Medical Assistant Externship
*current CPR card
*recent experience (within the past 6 months) beyond an externship
