Job: Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Following general instructions and with discretion as to work details, performs a wide variety of accounting tasks requiring experienced professional knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Is responsible for preparation of financial board reports and management of loan and investment portfolios for the credit union.

* Requires a four year B.S. or BA degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
* Requires 2-3 years of related experience
* Credit union or financial institution experience is required
* Must have knowledge of accounting principles and theories
* Strong organizational & analytical skills a must
* Strong mathematical reasoning a must
* Must be able to multi-task & be detail oriented
* Must be able to maintain department security and confidentiality
* Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) a must; prefer
advanced skill set
