Job: Service Technician / Mechanic

Convoy Auto Repair has been in business at the same location in Kearny Mesa for over 30 years. We are an AAA Approved Automotive Repair Facility. We have gained the reputation of being the premier service facility for complete auto repair in San Diego. We are a high volume, fast-paced shop that prides itself on top quality work, efficiency, and customer service like none other.

We are looking to add the right individual to our team. If you are an experienced Service Technician / Mechanic you may be the candidate we are seeking.

* 10 years of Auto Technician experience
* Strong diagnostic skills & line mechanic skills
* Must have thorough knowledge of diagnostics & engines, heavy line experience, all facets of auto repair, brakes, alignment and struts.
* Technical aptitude with an understanding of automotive components, systems and their interactions. CA Smog. Consumer Assistants Program (CAP) helpful.
* Web-based catalog and/or electronic catalog skills needed.
* Be a team player with a strong desire to learn
* A willingness to maintain high service standards
* Good communication skills (listening, written, and verbal)
* Able to understand and adhere to company policy and procedures
* Self motivated bringing enthusiasm and a positive attitude to the team
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle work of diverse scope and complexity
