Job: Tutorial Assistant

Provide assistance to the REACH after school Site Coordinator, provide educational assistance to REACH teens at the after school sites, assist in supervision of activities for high-risk youth at the REACH after school sites.

Take part in program activities to increase staff and teen participants’ morale.

Must be attending college or have prior college courses with experience in assisting students in recreational, homework and other activities specifically designed for adolescents.

Minimum 2.5 GPA and a copy of the most recent transcript (does not need to be official).

Ability to present information both orally and in writing.

Comfortable assisting teens with their homework and other projects – specifically a strong base in math is needed.

Ability to assist the subcontractor/facilitators with workshops as needed.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
