Job: Site Assistant

Site: OMH-YEP - Project REACH Higher

Provide assistance to the Site Coordinator.

Supervise activities for high-risk youth at site.

Work with partners and potential subcontractors to design and implement programs for high-risk youth.

Provide educational assistance and program activities to program youth and their families.

Must be attending 4-year institution of higher learning or have AA degree with 1 year experience working with youth development programs and high-risk adolescents and their families.

Ability to present information effectively verbally and in writing.

Computer knowledge, MS-Office programs, internet research, etc.

Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.

Valid CDL, reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance; class “B” license eligible.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Familiar with development and implementation of recruitment plans; fhigh school academic subjects, program activities and other recreation or educational projects.

Ability to present curriculum workshops, lessons and youth activities to groups of all sizes.

Assist in implementation and facilitation of program curricula and prevention activities.

Familiar with data collection and implementation of data evaluation instruments.

Ability to plan evenings and schedule local and county field trips and/or service learning events.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds of materials/supplies.
