Jobing Description
Schedule and supervise activities for the after school program for high-risk youth at Rancho Buena Vista High School.
Work with school personnel to design and implement prevention and intervention after school programs for youth attending RBVHS. Supervise staff, volunteers and/or mentors from local colleges. Maintain food and field trip incentive budget expense and complete all required reporting. Skills / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Youth Development or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have experience with youth development. Minimum 6 months supervisory experience. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Ability to effectively present program curriculum and implement research design protocol. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Computer knowledge, Microsoft Word & Excel, internet, database entry, etc. Valid CDL, reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance; California Class “B” driver’s license eligible. CPR certification. Ability to work with personnel with a variety of cultural, ethnic and educational backgrounds. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Important Notes
