JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for independent evaluation, interpretation and diagnosis of auditory system function. Develops individualized recommendations, treatment plans, and provides patient/family counseling and education. Consults with medical team and allied health professionals and documents all pertinent clinical findings to render a comprehensive, family-based hearing health plan.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctorate degree in Audiology (AuD)

Master's degree in Audiology, if graduated prior to 2007

ASHA certification or eligible

California Audiology licensure eligible

Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division and organizational priorities

Current CPR certification (Issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross provider)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

California Hearing Aid Dispensing licensure eligible

Preferred, 2 years clinical experience as practitioner in Audiology with emphasis in pediatric treatments
