This position performs all billing functions, prepares and sends invoices to customers, set up and maintain billing master files.

Apply customer credit card transactions as payments on customer accounts.

Apply customer payments against applicable invoices

Promptly correct billing errors upon discovery
Answer customer invoice and payment inquiries
Reconcile month-end accounts receivable report to general ledger
Maintain history files
Prepare and send to customers payment advices detailing items to be

Knowledge and skills required:
• Computer skills, with an emphasis on spreadsheet applications
• At least four years of accounting experience
• Extensive knowledge in accounting software
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Basic Microsoft Word skills

Preferred attributes of successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Prior experience with public accounting firm or fast paced service firm
