Job: ADHC Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

San Ysidro Health Center is currently seeking Certified Nurse Assistants for our new Adult Day Health Center. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. CNA will conduct and record routine technical tasks such as vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate), collection of specimens, intake and output and mass, and maintenance of medical records. Provides personal care, such as toileting, bathing, feeding, transferring, dressing, grooming, or changing linens under the supervision of the nurse and the Activity Director.

3 Full Time Positions available
Adult Day Health Center due to open 2010

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid CNA certification
Current CPR certification required (Healthcare Provider).
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
CA Driver’s License w/proof of auto insurance coverage
Experience working with the elderly.
An interest and desire to work with the target population served by the center.
