To highlight AppStar Financial’s commitment to providing the highest quality processing and service platform, the Company became one of the first payment gateway providers to obtain Multi-Card Compliance (MCCP) security certification. As a result, it has been certified that AppStar Financial meets or exceeds information security industry best practices, including the data security requirements of the following credit card association data security programs - American Express DSOP, Discover® DISC, MasterCard SDP, Visa AIS, and Visa CISP. In order to successfully complete an MCCP audit, an extensive security assessment must be conducted, which includes vulnerability scanning and penetration testing. In order to validate compliance, reports produced from these efforts must not identify any “High Level” security risks. No high level risks within the AppStar Financial environment were identified.
