Currently Essex has ownership interests in 140+ multi family properties and an employee population of over 1,000. Our corporate office is located in Palo Alto, California with regional offices in Southern California and in Washington State.
We are looking for a Leasing Consultant to join our team!
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all leasing efforts
- Implement marketing programs of the property, including: successful leasing of apartments, qualifying potential residents, and creation of all rental agreements
- Record all traffic, rental results, & resident activity
- Provide professional service at all times, including assisting residents with service requests
Skills / Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. College preferred
Direct sales and marketing experience, 2 yrs related or 1yr industry experience (preferred)
Strong communication skills, knowledge of business correspondence
Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel. Yardi preferred
