Jobing Description

This position will heavily involve the recruitment and selection of Insurance Agents for Farmers Insurance Group. This position will involve farming databases from companies like Monster, Career Builder, Jobing, etc... as well as attend Career Fairs to acquire qualified candidates.

The Insurance Agent position at Farmers Insurance for which you will be recruiting is an Independent Contractor position where individuals have the opportunity to be in business for themselves, but not by themselves.

This position will report directly to the Sales Manager and will involve screening resumes, phone interviews, verifying references and the overall assistance in achieving the District's Agency Development goals.

Skills / Requirements

Strong communication skills is a must. The candidate must be able to learn the Farmers Insurance Agent position inside and out and articulate the benefits of becoming a business owner to qualified candidates. Candidate must be comfortable on the phones with the ability to peak the interest of qualified candidates in order to schedule in-person interview. Other skills/requirements include:
