Jobing Description

Maintains the physical functionality of facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas. Responds to guest calls and team member work orders to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment and manages competing priorities. Performs a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry. Inspects guestrooms, public space and heart-of-the-house for needed and preventive maintenance. Maintains detailed records in English for logs and inspection. Maintains an inventory of supplies needed to perform job function. Prepares requisition for purchase as required. Records and reports major repairs and items which cannot be repaired to the supervisor for further action and if necessary, place an area out of order. Performs other work-related duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor. Focuses on and integral in development of guest room and public space preventive maintenance program.

Skills / Requirements

Experience in a hospitality environment is highly preferred. One year of building maintenance experience required.
Wage: $15 per hour
Position starts in November.
