Jobing Description
Under the supervision of the General Manager, either personally or through subordinates, directs the financial affairs of Casino Pauma; prepares financial analyses of operations, proformas of new projects, reviews systems for efficiency improvement involved in strategic planning process and other projects as required
Skills / Requirements
* 10 - 15 years financial / accounting industry experience with a minimum of 7 years in a casino environment
* Prior experience as a Director of Finance/Controller at a casino (required). Pre-opening/ expansion experience would be a plus
* Previous experience with some or all of the following: ACSC (CMS and SMS), Currency Note Counting Machines (Soft Count), ABRA, FRX, MASS 90 (General Ledger), PC Software, Micros, LMS, Konami, etc.
* Both operations (Cage/Count) and financial (accounting/auditing) experience (preferred).
* Solid experience managing teams of people. Proven track record in providing leadership in accounting and business process improvement
* Excellent analytical skills
* Current and relevant gaming industry knowledge.
* Proficient with GAAP
* Must have excellent knowledge of the NIGC MICS
* Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
Important Notes
High School Diploma or GED (required). Bachelors Degree (required); preferably Business Administration, Finance or Accounting. Masters Degree / CPA/ CMA designation (desirable).
