Jobing Description

Sr. Network Systems Engineer: Responsible for managing, designing, building, operating and supporting systems and network operations.

Mandatory requirements include:

* Strong knowledge of networking hardware and protocols which includes VMWare
* Extensive experience setting up routers, firewalls, VPN & VDI devices.
* Excellent hardware, software, network & virtual troubleshooting and analytical skills.
* Experience in virtualizing new systems, installing operating systems, drivers and applications
* Knowledge of Microsoft networking technologies, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, domain architecture
* Experience with IT security environments of large financial institutions desired

Specific Duties:
* Corporate networks and Windows-based servers for medium size organizations in a VMWare environment.
* High-availability clusters for SQL Server, Exchange Server.
* Virtualized Web server farms.
* Advanced IP routing solutions.
* Network security and penetration detection systems.
* VPN access to corporate networks
* 24x7 IT operations.
* As part of the Information Technology department, the occasional need to work late and on weekends is required.

Skills / Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
* BS in Computer Science or applicable field of study required
* MCSE & VMWare certification required
* 5-7+ years of related work experience required
