Home Start, founded in 1972, is dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect and addresses the conditions that put children in risky or abusive situations. Home Start reaches at-risk children right where it counts - in the home, and provides services to those who require immediate, comprehensive solutions to ensure their safety and healthy development.
We are currently seeking a part-time therapist (30 hours per week) to provide home-based mental health treatment and case management services to client families under licensed clinical supervision. Responsibilities include:
Skills / Requirements
Master's in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other related field, license-eligible in California required. Experience in providing therapeutic services to children in a counseling or social work setting and knowledge of early childhood development and family systems required. Must be willing to provide in-home services. Experience with PCIT and TF-CBT preferred. Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus.
