Pursue the Passion Interviews Bruce Haffner Helicopter Reporter

Bruce Haffner joined KTVK 3TV in 1984 and is currently a pilot/reporter who covers stories from a helicopter for the Good Morning Arizona and Good Evening Arizona TV shows. He took me up in the air for my first ever helicopter ride as we circled the greater Phoenix area looking for stories to cover.

I recently started a short video on first jobs based on the interviews done on the Pursue the Passion Tour. What I was surprised to find was that most of our interviewees didn't generally succeed their first time out. Their first jobs were primarily obstacles or learning experiences that simply contributed to the overall journey. With that said the video quickly became a compilation of stories about obstacles. Here are some of the professionals we interviewed speaking about the "hiccups" e

He talks about his motivations of getting into a family owned business, starting with working the cash registers before he could see over them. Now he is co-owner, which is enough clout to give the whole Pursue the Passion team a burrito.

Four recent college grads hopped in an RV and traveled across America to interview people about how to find passion in work.  16,000 miles, 38 states, and over 300 interviews later, they’ve collected the secrets to finding a job you’ll love from those who have accomplished the feat.  This video is the trailer for the book and documentary that will be released sometime in 2009.

Half of the American workforce is unhappy with their job. Four recent college grads didn't want to find themselves casualties of this statistic. They decided to cruise around the country in an RV and interview people who did love their job to figure out what they were doing that 75 million Americans weren't. This is a video of how the Pursue the Passion project got its start. For more information, log on to www.pursuethepassion.com.
